The Skylight's the limit
A substantial redevelopment of a Victorian property comprising of a 2-storey rear extension and basement. Croft is experienced when it comes to Victorian renovations. The main challenge on this project was supporting the open plan living space created throughout the property.
A clever contrast between old and new
Croft produced an elegant steel and masonry design creating a clever contrast between old and new. A large basement was excavated with walk-on glazing to the basement roof slab in the garden, to maximise the natural light to the basement.
Large walk-on skylights were added to the basement roof slab.

Despite the basement contractor changing during the works, the team at Croft worked with all parties to deliver a professional service on time and to budget.
