Sutton United's historic promotion to the English Football League 2, meant that they needed to upgrade the away Grandstand and increase capacity.
Solid foundations
Croft was appointed to undertake the foundation design for the Club's new away stands as well as retaining walls to back of stand to hold back the soil.

With Croft having extensive knowledge in Geotechnical Engineering, it meant that the design of the below ground works was carried out effectively thereby reducing the amount of concrete and reinforcement used throughout. Rising costs of materials have given rise to much more novel and economic structural design solutions within Croft.
