Croft Structural Engineers carried out the design for a single-storey rear and side extension with glass roof, including lowering the lower ground floor level. The lower ground floor level boasts a new spiral wine cellar. Croft used Revit to incorporate the structural design into the architectural layout to improve collaboration with the other consultants on the deign team.
Croft attended regular site meetings to supervise the works. We liaised with the contractor to ensure that the construction sequence was fully considered and that the temporary beams and columns were appropriately sized to allow for efficient construction procedures.
Croft provided valuable design advice, details and calculations to allow the party wall awards to be arranged.
