A substantial redevelopment of a Victorian property comprising of a 2-storey rear extension and basement.
Croft has extensive experience when it comes to Victorian renovations. The main challenge on this project was supporting the open plan living space being created throughout the property. Croft produced an elegant steel and masonry design creating a clever contrast between old and new. A large basement was excavated with walk-on glazing to the basement roof slab in the garden, allowing plenty of light to seep through the living spaces.
Despite the basement contractor changing during the works, the team at Croft worked with all parties to deliver a professional service on time and to budget.
