A substantial redevelopment of an existing three storey Victorian property, comprising a new extension on site, loft conversion and basement.
Roof:
The new mansard roof was constructed using from timer, with steels used to support it.
Loft:
The loft was constructed using timber a timber floor with steels used for supports.
Ground floor:
The extension was designed with masonry cavity walls and a beam and block floor. A portal frame was used for lateral stability to the rear of the property.
Basement:
The basement was a new concrete box constructed of retaining walls and slab.
