New Bushloe School, Leicester
At Croft Structural Engineers Ltd we look to new technologies and consider how they may be utilised in the construction trade. Part of our skill is to bring new materials into projects where appropriate. We worked closely with Vencil Resil, an insulation manufacturer, on the implementation of their new project SIPS (Structurally Insulated Panels Systems) into the UK: A sheet of OSB board is bonded to insulation to form a structural panel.
We helped Vencil Resil on the detailing of the panels at the new Bushloe School in Leicester. Croft Structural Engineers Ltd provided the design and detail expertise and co-ordination of the SIPS cladding with the main frame.
