Room for London Competition
At the beginning of this year we worked with Tsuruta Architects Ltd in developing a design for ‘A Room for London’, a temporary one bedroom installation that will sit on the roof of Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall and be part of the 2012 Festival.
The brief was to create a room on one of the most visible sites in the British capital, where up to two people at a time could spend a unique night to an exemplary architectural landmark.
The competition was fierce with among over 500 entries from across the world.
