The lower ground floor flat underwent a major refurbishment project. The old Georgian coal cellars were converted with a new basement being formed under the road. An additional 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and mini theatre were constructed.
The overall build cost was £400,000 and the works added £800,00 to the property.
Inspections were completed of the upper floors to determine load paths, and the structural design and alterations were completed. Party walls were required on the upper floors. Further highways design and approval were also required.
