Croft Structural Engineers help speed the remodelling of townhouses in London W1

Croft Structural Engineers has recently completed a project in Marylebone, London. Oldbury Place was a complex project converting an existing Victorian industrial building into three modern townhouses and incorporating a new two-storey basement under the full premises.

Dulwich Wood Avenue was shortlisted in the ‘Best Individual New Home’ at the LABC London Awards in May 2015. This is a prestigious award that recognises high quality one-off new build homes.  The criteria for the award being an outstanding project that goes above and beyond the level seen on a day-to-day basis – high quality finish and detail.

Canfield Gardens was shortlisted in the “Don’t Move Improve Awards 2013”. With over 650 entries being shortlisted was not an easy task. The design took a typically Victorian property and transformed it into a modern icon design. The owner’s love the airy light open space provided for them. The living spaces have been merged on different levels forming changing vistas throughout the day.

Croft Structural Engineers were the proud winners of the title ‘Best Small Business 2011’. At the Awards ceremony the company was noted for its commitment to staff training, improvement of service and for expanding both its products and client base over the tough recession.

At a time when many companies were retracting Croft was seen as a company that was expanding. While small the company showed it had in practice good environmental concerns, training, staff retention and showed a willingness to develop young talent.
