Morella Road provided us with some interesting challenges. The whole house was refurbished including a new basement. Later the basement was extended under the rear garden to create a full footprint basement.
Lying within the area between Clapham and Wandsworth Common, and on a downward slope, we were able to use our knowledge of groundwater flow to help prevent any damming issues, which could have led to issues with both the neighbouring cellar and with waterproofing of the new basement structure.
This stunning house also benefited from a large dormer extension at loft level, and a large rear extension at ground floor level.
