Our Procedure

Croft Structural Engineers has extensive experience and knowledge of a wide range of domestic projects throughout London & South East is something that we pride ourselves on.  A typical range of services provided includes:

Initial consultation: An engineer visits and completes a one to one consultation.  This is vital so that we understand your needs, aspirations and expectations. 

Structural report: During the consultation a survey is completed to note the condition and dilapidation of the existing structure.  Should we consider that additional investigation is required site investigations into soil conditions and drainage may be called for.

Designs compliant with Regulations:  All structural designs comply strictly with British Standards for building regulations part A.  AutoCAD drawings (computer drafting) supplied to allow for fast effective communication and understanding

Tender Stage: Working on over 300 projects a year provides Croft Structural Engineers with great data base of contractors and allows us to keep up on their performance. 

Temporary support & propping of existing structure: This is as important as the final structure itself.  Croft often works with the contractor to provide a cost effective and safe solution for such works.

Site inspections: During the works to ensure compliance with specifications and drawings.  Having Croft on site during the works reduces the concerns of the District Surveyor

Cromwell Rd

Having completed a house conversion on the road we were recommended to the neighbour.  This small project required the removal of cross walls to the ground floor rear addition to open the area up the kitchen area.  Croft Structural Engineers help the client achieve her aim of an open plan kitchen.

We were also employed to complete the Party Wall work on the project.
