We  are aware that problems with ones property can cause stress and anxiety.  Often we are called out to within the local area to inspect properties and comment on the defects and dilapidations that occur over the natural life of a building.

These projects provide a break from the larger projects and one often finds senior staff members popping out to a small crack survey if they are close by.

Poor Double Glazing in Sidcup

A typical construction method for houses in the 1930-1950 was to place reinforced plates in the wind frame to support small sections of walls & floors.  With houses being upgraded with double glazing this little fact is often over looked, particularly by some of the larger glazing firms.

Windows are changed with the adequate support omitted.  The building then distorts. Croft is often called upon to provide home owners with a professional voice when dealing with the glazing firms.
